You and others interested may want to take a look at Ed Rybczynski's 2006 white paper, "Words of Advice for Anyone Who Cares to Listen" which details the limitations of the MdLandRec.net website.  Ed has written extensively on this subject and I highly recommend his work to anyone seeking to gain a better understanding of this issue.
