If we each make an effort to speak directly with each recorder in each county we search in, it may help. Most of the recorders I spoke to had no idea how much "abstracting" work is being done overseas.  They only thought it was retrieving recording information on recorded mortgages, which they are told are for generating satisfactions for MERS.
