Anita and Kevin,

Thank you both for the invitations. I would love to come to both, but I don't think my family would be too pleased with me. When it comes to family obligations, my family falls somewhere in between the Kennedys and the Corleones so I don't think I'll be missing the holiday with them. But, I am jealous of your lucky guests who get to partake in the offerings that you are creating.

I do have one question for both of you, though. I've often wondered about this dish and I have to ask you and anyone else who wishes to answer. Have you ever made a turducken? In the past few years, the dish has garnered a lot of attention and I was interested in learning more. I won't be making one anytime soon as my cooking abilities lie closer to the George Foreman Grill than to an actual oven.
