I am not coming this year because we just purchased a building to house our office and are just about done remodeling it.  While this is hugely exciting to us and MUCH needed, the expenditures have drained our savings down to the knuckle-biting level.  Yes, I could probably justify spending just a little more to come--the conference being one of those things where it might be costly NOT to come, but hubby and I were determined to get into this office without borrowing money, so my savings are dear to me at the moment.  So, the real answer is that I am choosing not to come.  I am certain I will regret it, but that is my decision right now.  I may change my mind if we get into our office and my brain clears from the stress...
