I get an order from a company and what I have been doing lately is asking them to verify my counties and fees in their "system".
I had one company that I have done title work for for 7 years give me a recording in a county and I didn't do the search. I call and come to find out, "somehow" I am only listed in that county for recordings and not title searches and some counties I am not in there at all. How does this happen? Did I offend someone at their office that tried to nickel and dime me about a search and then when I wouldn't give in, they take me out of that county?  Sounds about right.
