I need some help. We ordered a update search on 7/24 early in the AM. Called the vendor to make sure they had it and the 2 #'s we had for them didnt work. The fax however transmitted with out a hitch. Seeing that we had used the abstractor before and like the work they had done we left it with them and faxed a notice to please call us with new #'s & also to confirm they got the search and to provide an ETA. 7/25 AM nothing. 7/25 PM nothing. 7/26 AM nothing. Just in case the fax was the only working # we sent a cancellation. This did not transmit any of the 3 times we tried to send it. We checked the #'s and they didnt work. We reassigned the order and had it back later that day. 7/27 the original searcher sends the search (3&1/2 days after getting the update was ordered) no new #'s and no note. We tried calling them again. #'s still don't work. A note was faxed stating that the search had been canceled and the results had been sent in to late anyway.
Now they send a fax (no call) Stating they are upset, don't want to do our work and they are so mad they are going to tell every one we are an awful company and not to work with us.
Now my question. Should I pay them?
