I have never noticed that problem on the blog.  However, I have made a change that should take care of it.  Registered users, who are logged in, will no longer have to enter the "captcha code" to post a comment.  Registration on the blog is not the same as Source of Title registration - you will have to register separately on the blog.  However, once registered, you will not have to enter the code at all.

That code prevents "automated" spammers from posting comments.  Requiring registration should take care of the problem.  If it becomes an issue I may have to re-activate the code for registered users, but we'll give it a try.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.  We certainly want more comments on the blog... hopefully this will help.
