Not to question your style or anything, but usually one would say nice things about an organization before asking people to join.

I really have not been aware of any members considering the NALTEA board to be non-communicative, much less angry about it.  NALTEA sends out a newsletter each month, mostly written by the board members.  It even includes a summary of the topics discussed at the most recent board meeting.  I have never known an inquiry to go without a response.

I do agree with you, though, that NALTEA is a worthwhile organization for those who have yet to become members.  And we would certainly welcome a thousand Jans or Davids, or even Emilys and Sams for that matter.
