We went with State Farm in early 2006.  90 days before the renewal this year, we received a letter from them saying that their MINIMUM premium for Abstractor E & O would now be $5,000.  We had no claims.  No problems.  They just said something to the effect that because of the claims in the industry......yada yada yada.

I switched to TIAC.  More than I was paying with State Farm, but not anywhere near what I would have to pay this year had I stayed with them.
