Interestingly enough, with todays digital age, people grow what I call virtual balls.  Even more astonishingly, those virtual balls seem to disappear when you meet them face to face at a convention.  I think if we had more firm handshakes in this business people would be less likely to screw an abstractor if that abstractor became much more than a voice or an email.
