I don't have particular problem with the Pacer site. The feds have always been more cautious in what they display over the Internet. Additionally, the federal cases tend to not contain much in the way of personal information.

I can tell you that the Pacer site has been hacked in the past but I suspect the hackers were not trying to get their hands on the cases. More likely they were just trying to prove their hacking skills by breaking into any government site.
