Thanks Tracy,
I have had good reception for the mobile office system. It shaves hours off the time it takes to return an order and has saved me many trips to distant counties now that I receive the orders in the field. If you would like to see how we have set our system up, there is an article I wrote about a year ago. You can find it at: http://www.davickservices.com/Mobile%20Office.htm . I keep watching for services and systems that are faster and less brittal. I look forward to the time when I can enjoy a high speed connection while driving down the road. For now, it is only about as fast as dialup. Sometimes we circimvent the cellular system by having lunch at a local Internet cafe.
We only offer this service in some counties in Texas but I think some others on this forum are offering it in their own areas.
As far as the added charges, the reception has been mixed. For some, it is worth the added expense of paying an abstractor to act as a typist but most usually just opt for our forms faxed or emailed to them upon completion.
