Wow! It is great to see that technology is catching up! From the responses, it seems that the two hardest states to enter into the title insurance business, TX & CA, have leading edge people carving the way to making life easier in the industry.
This brings me to another question: Seeing the headlines about counties selling information, easier access to home owner information, and privacy laws, do we want the counties to upgrade their technology as well? If they do upgrade, what does it mean to those abstracters who are upgrading their systems, or those abstractors who are less technologically advanced?
