We do not use outside abstractors. I guess because we are listed on SOT we also get faxes and emails from companies with their pricing. We have received two this month very similar to the one you mention. I am just as concerned as you and Lisa are at these ridiculously low rates. I actually do agree with Scott that we all have a right to run our business as we see fit... but... and yes there is always a "but." I still don't see how Jason and these other companies can charge so little for so much liability. Jason is smarter than the rest of the "newbies"... they get shot out of the water when asking a question on how to get an abstracting business going. He got around it all with his "quick question survey." He managed to get more info from that survey than any new abstractor I have seen.
