Judy,  A very dear friend of mine (who is  now deceased) gave me this receipe years ago.  I have not made them in years.  Thank you for the reminder.  They are wonderful. 

As for the weather,  In Northeast Ohio it has been snowing everyday for over a week.  Two feet & counting at my house.  Suppose to get more this afternoon.  Near Zero temperatures.  We are used to it.  And I know those in the upper midwest are much worse then us.  That is why even though I know it is not Politically Correct & I use too much gas,  I would not have anything but a 4-wheel drive.
