George: Your point is well taken- one of the counties I do work in only has records on line back to about 1977, so in those cases I have to revert to the old ways and wade my way through the books just like before. But the other 3 counties I work in go well over 100 yrs online, so a 40 yr search is just one more case-no problems at all.
