the learning curve is not all that bad- it is best used as your default printer and then you are forced to work with it. When you print it will go to the PP desktop and you can work with the doc  or send it to your hard copy printer. stack, unstack and manipulate the pages anyway you want, and as your default printer it is lightning fast- now let me at least let you know I use business Internet access, which runs at a 7meg rate as opposed to a 768k rate for dsl- so it is fast (runs me about $55/ mo for this service from them)- I can d/l and print a 100 pg doc in about 40 seconds- There are a number of detail items that just need time on the program or someone to walk you through it, I have introduced this to the Stewart Title abstracting company down here and they love it, took them one day of teaching and they are on their own now. Another 2 person company , Examiners Title(also on SOT) has recently accepted my pleas to help them drop the paper money drain and switch to paper port- the fine lady that does the computer work was able to catch on after two afternoons of help- of course it does come with a complete on-disk manual too.
A note if you didn't read my first mention of this on one of the posts was that there are 2 versions of the software- $99 & $199- Home  vs Pro versions, not a lot of difference except the PDF abilities- if you need that- might be the best version, but Scansoft will often sell the pro version for ½ price so just wait them out if you can.
If you decide to take the leap- I will be glad to assist with any thing you have a question about, as I will with any other company/individual on here, we just need to get more of the abstractors to realize the benefits of this program or any other similar one, like Robert has mentioned, to help them get the work completed and  out to the clients.
