Dear Michaela,

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your mother and family!  I will not bore you with the details, however, my brother in law, sister in law and mother in law ALL have had kidney transplants, one as recent as two years ago.  In NYS, they are, as far as we know per the doctors, the ONLY family of three who have undergone this massive surgery.  Now, your mother is not at that point and thank goodness, however, I do know what it is like to be in your situation and thus, my thoughts and prayers to you.
