Suit yourself. If you don't care that you have endangered yourself, your family and your friends with this reckless display of the information then you are within your rights.
The information on you that was at the county court records had probably never been seen or would have been seen by more than a couple of people. So far the information you published here on the internet has been seen by 47  times by the people here. By next week it will have been spyderd by any number of search engines, archived and found it's way into hundreds even thousands of databases anywhere in the world.

You have every right to be this reckless with your own life Charles. But do you believe you have the right to be this reckless with the lives of others? Are you this reckless with your clients information or that of their customers?

Your suggestion that abuse of the public records can be stopped by," require that publicly held documents only include that necessary information" is naive at best. What are you going to do with the billions of records already out there? Or the bilions of copies of those records that now reside on thousands of databases here and in foreign countries? Do you think they will redact this information? They are not compelled by American laws. American law does not allow the sale of narcotics but every day I get 8-10 emails from foreing entities offering narcotics.

al Qaeda gathers the information offered over the internet to target American facilities, leaders and citizens. Their training manuals scoff at the laws that allow them to gather 80% of the information they need from the American Public Record so recklessly published over the internet. Do you think they will redact their target information just because we were so foolish as to hand it to them on the internet?

You say your identity was stolen when, "a very good hacker broke into the very well protected database of a national chain" What a shame for the hacker that your county is not online. If they were he wouldn't have needed to hack into anything. All the information he needs about you, your wife, your mother or neighbors will be just two mouse clicks away.
