So Scott, in your areas, one place is back-logged almost 3 months.  I have on of those too.  But What I don't understand is this:  If a client sends it to the courthouse, it sits there but if you walk it in, it gets recorded first, or before the ''mail'? If I were to take a recording in and put it in line and leave, then you come in and put one in line, can you wait there for it to be recorded and record before mine, even though I was there first?
Here, our recordings are first come first serve.  Mail and walk-ins.  All get time stamped in and recorded in the order the clerk receives them.
