Outsourcing is a direct result of federal legislation which has resulted in a loss of jobs to other nations with lower living standards. It is going to require federal legislation to correct the problem.The problem of is not limited to this industry alone.What is needed is a broadbased allignment of interest groups which have been injured thereby, and a lobby in Washington similar those used by the insurance and prescription drug industries. Perhaps a committee should be formed with NALTEA to explore that possibilty or at least to put out feelers to other industries to determine their receptivity to organizing into a strong coalition with one voice.
