I would think that with your "other" expereince and these classes you mentioned that you would be a desireable candidate for an abstractor position with a local title company/attorney.  This training and experience will make it much easier for someone to train you in the specifics of the job.  The important thing is that when "unusual" situations arise you will have the understanding to ask the right questions and learn "why" you get the answers they give.
