THIS ASSOCIATION CAN NOT BECOME AN ELITIST CLUB!!!

In general associations are formed for the benefit of everyone, not just the experienced.

The statement of ",but I still don't see how this is going to help the experienced independent abstractor" begs the question of what benefit would there be in the "experienced only need apply" association?


In this association, there will be a certification program for those experienced and seasoned abstractors. There will be a monthly newsletter reporting changes in our industry. A benefits committee searching out affordable insurance (E&O, health, etc...) and other discounts. There will be an Education committee that will come up programs for even experienced abstractors and new tricks of the trade that even a NEW person might come up with. The list can go on and on.

I really have a hard time believing that all the possibilities and benefits that this association can provide, even the experienced abstractors, can escape anyone. Jay
