Thanks for the info. You were right, I checked my E&O policy and it only covers my Notary.

After reading your post about the "Abstracting Course" I took, I really became discouraged. My wanting to become an abstractor is not a whim. I really want to do this and do it right - not to get rich or steal someone else's clients - I love doing research. I've done genealogical research for years and history is an obsession.

I live in Alabama and if anyone else out there is willing to help and/or advise me I'd be very grateful.
