I don't think it's coming back this time. Not like it did last time. I have lost all my clients accept for one. I've tried calling and emailing, but they never respond. The one client I have left sends me one current owner a day. And that's it. This whole year, each month I had client after client stop sending work and then stopped communicating. 

I've heard from some laid off employees that a lot of these companies have laid off approx. 75% of their staff, and are turning to technology to get searches done without us. Sure, they'll be some work here there, mostly retrieval of records not online. I've heard some commercial work is still available, and that some law firms are still receiving some work, although I don't personally know if either is true.

 I was wondering if I was the only one not getting any work. Like you said, all things do come to an end. And sadly I think technology has finely caught up with title searching.
