Hi, I sort of vaguely recall reading discussions on here about how we (title searchers) could put a lien on the home for a property we searched but never got paid for..... Does any one know if that is true? I could consult an attorney of course, but thought I would get some advice from you all before I did that. I have a couple of clients not paying and no amount of emailing, phone calling, etc. has shaken any payments from them. I wonder if a lien on the property would prove more effective than turning the client over to an attorney and/or collection agency. Patty
