Many of my clients are starting to use payment services who pay a lump sum with no invoice numbers... some don't even tell you the company the check is coming from. All we need is to make it even harder to keep up with who pays and who doesn't.

 I discovered that they paid me after all. Since I didn't think I had gotten a check from them, they paid me with cash app, so then they had to stop payment on the check that I didn't know was from them.
