The issue with copy costs is our customers only want to pay what the courthouse charges.  That was all well and good when copies were $0.25 per page.  Now, we have counties that were $0.25 per page that are now $2.00 per page.  Sorry but we are not banks providing interest free loans.  At $2.00 per page on just a current owner with pertinent page copies when the borrower has a deed and 2 mortgages, the copy fee will exceed the fee for the search and we have to front that money.

 When copies were cheap, fronting copy fees wasn't an issue but it is now and companies like Veracity, and in turn, your customers, are going to have to realize that. 

Upcharging a small fee on each copy is becoming necassary for us to continue to have the excess cash available to purchase copies.
